CHAPTER FOUR: THE POISON SLOPES
🎥 “Onward and Upward”
👒 Collect the Tyrolean Hat hanging high in the woods just left of the campsite.
🍎 Collect the Papaya hanging from the tree a short distance up the road from the campsite.
🏆📦 Collect the Vase within Trophy Cave beside the lower pond to deliver it to the fire tower.
👒 Collect the Donkey Hood located at the bottom of the well in the Master’s Mansion area.

The Poison Slopes
The Poison Slopes is the fourth area in the game. It ranges from the Ruined Jail campsite in the south to the desert area atop the mountain to the northwest. Exploring the surroundings you can find 4 collectible Hats, 3 Collectible Fruits, 4 Stacks of Cans and 4 graffiti among several unique setpieces such as a giant stone egg, a ruined mansion, and a retirement village.

This cutscene is triggered automatically when starting Chapter 4.
👒 Collect the Tyrolean Hat
👒 Collect the Tyrolean Hat
The Tyrolean Hat is located in the woods to the west of the Ruined Jail campsite, hanging in a tree with metal platforms nailed to it.
Wear this hat during a "Camp" cutscene to play through its Dream Sequence.
This tree is sort of difficult to find, but you can see it a few paces from a hanging piece of paper asking about the Vase.
Spiral around the tree. It's best to keep your feet as close to the edge of the metal platforms as possible.
When you come to this large nail in the tree step directly on the top of it and step up immediately, otherwise you will fall backward.
At the pointed tree branch you can step across and reach up to grab the Tyrolean Hat. You don't have to go all the way around unless you want to prove you're talented.

The Papaya is located a short distance to the north of Ruined Jail campsite, hanging from the tree that has a tree-swing.
Start by stepping to the middle of the swing.
You can force your foot up onto this branch, you just need to commit and step up quickly.
Traverse the remaining branches to reach the Papaya.

The Vase is located within Trophy Cave, which is beside the lower pond northwest of the trees where the Tyrolean Hat was located. Collect the Vase from the Salesman and then deliver it to the fire tower high on the mountain to the northeast. You may take the "Don't Trip" path which is noted on the map, or you can cut through the cave on the right and grab the Donkey Hood on the way (recommended). WARNING: You only get ONE attempt to deliver the Vase. If you break it, you will have to start a new game to complete the challenge.
This small area is low and difficult to find. It's adjacent to Peach Lake, a bit north of some rocky ruins.
You'll see the Salesman's white shirt inside Trophy Cave.
Collect the Vase and head up the stairs leading east (Not the ones shown here).
Heading north you'll come to a fork where you can go up through the "Don't Trip" path (the square on the left), or head right through the cave where the Donkey Hood is.

The Donkey Hood is located inside the cave northeast of Trophy Cave. The cave exits just beneath the Master's Mansion, where the fire tower is. There is also a well in the Master's Mansion area which falls north of where the Donkey Hood is, so if you're there and have not gotten the Donkey Hood yet, that is an easy method to grab it.
Wear this hat during a "Camp" cutscene to play through its Dream Sequence.

The third fire tower is located on the south west side of the Master's Mansion area. Drop the Vase off. Then climb the fire tower and peer through the telescope.

These cans are located atop the pillar in the Master's Mansion area. To reach them you will have to cross four large gaps.

This graffiti is located inside the well of the Master's Mansion area. You can see it from the top of the well or attempt to reach it by climbing down to it. The image shown has the Nudity setting turned on to prevent spoilers. Turn the Nudity setting off to see the unique artwork.
If you attempt to climb down the well to touch the graffiti, you'll end up at the bottom quite often.
Climbing down is extremely difficult. I got fairly close once...

The Cherimoya is located near the far east lake (Cherimoya Lake). It is hanging from a tree above a small stone structure. To reach it, step on the right beam with your right foot, then the left beam with your left foot. Because both beams are angled, you'll need to do these steps quickly to reach the top of the stones.

These cans are atop the boulder with the flipped-over picnic table leaning against it.
The picnic table is only about fifteen paces away from the Cherimoya. Approach it from the right.
Get your left foot high up the angled support beam and then step to the small crack in the tabletop on the right. Be careful about being to aggressive. Move slowly.
Step onto the top bench and maatch feet.
Then step across and walk in short steps up the rock.

Jesse's Gym is located inside a cave beneath Cherimoya Lake. You can jump off from the diving board above to get into it, or you can simply flap your legs hard enough that you shove yourself underneath the edge. Believe it or not, the latter is easier. Once inside, complete the gym in under the time limit to get the "The Greatest" achievement.

...Or just swim under the rock.

This graffiti is located on the back side of a short wall in the northwestern corner. An image is not included to prevent spoiling Jesse's Gym.

The Cardboard Box Hat is located at the top of the Box Hell area. To reach the Box Hell area, continue east from the picnic table. You'll find the Box Hell area south of a long wooden fence. Wear this hat during a "Camp" cutscene to play through its Dream Sequence.
You'll be able to see the Cardboard Box Hat at the top of a tower in the middle of all the boxes.
Once you're close enough, head around the back of the southern end.
Traverse the back side, being careful not to bump your knees against the boxes. The picture above shows the crux; a long step that reaches to a higher box.
Complete the traverse and ascend the tower to reach the Cardboard Box Hat.

These cans are located to the east of Box Hell, resting at the end of a wooden diving board that hangs over Peach Lake.

The Peach is hanging from a tree atop the massive rock in the center of Peach Lake. The only crux to reach it is a long step across to the big rock. The walk-back will require you to swim back to the sand and climb all the way back up, so be careful.

The Binoculars are located on the cliffside a few meters beneath the Retirement Village.
To reach the Retirement Village head south over some rocks near where you go to get to the Peach. You'll see a wooden bridge that you'll need to navigate. A fall leads back into Box Hell...
Head up several staircases...
Then turn right toward Lemming Leap.
Once you're at Retirement Village go around it counter-clockwise and then descend down the cliffside on a thin ledge. The Binoculars lie on a box near the edge.

The graffiti is located on a rock to the west of the Retirement Village near a mudslide. You'll likely pass over the mudslide on your way up.

These cans are located atop the boulder near the start of the next chapter. You'll pass by it heading east on your way toward Lemming Leap. It is not actually possible to get these normally. See FAQ for details.

This cutscene is triggered by approaching Mike, who is sitting at the edge of Lemming Leap, a massive lookout near the start of the next chapter.

Trigger this event by leaping from Lemming Leap. You will lose progress, but hear me out: If you want to see everything, you're going to have to do this eventually. And if you decide to push this off until later, you'll only cost yourself more time. I did it. He did it. He, she, we did it. Now mumbo.

The Trophy Hat you must collect from the tortoise near the beginning of the desert area.
Wear this hat during a "Camp" cutscene to play through its Dream Sequence and earn an achievement.

Tyrolean Hat: (Coming Soon)
Donkey Hood: Nate wakes up in a doctor's office. There is medical equipment everywhere and some charts on Nate's health. He tries to look for things to escape without being seen but the doctor comes in. He asks Nate some simple medical history questions and then asks to get a look at Nate's "downstairs." After his inspection, the doctor leaves and says "his girl" will be in to see him next. Nate finds a large needle on the bench and tries to escape through a small opening, but before he can, he is transformed into a monster and chase's the girl out of the room.
Cardboard Box Hat: Nate goes to several reunions throughout his life. Everyone he talks to is accomplished or going some place in their life. All of them ask how Nate has been or what he has been doing with his life and all realize he has accomplished nothing. At the end, Nate finds himself at his own funeral. He places himself in a coffin and dies having accomplished nothing.
Trophy Hat: Nate embarks on a grand journey across the world to interrupt his sister's ceremony, where she is awarded the achievement of excellence. Nate steals her achievement and fleas the building. (More info coming soon)
